Raytek protective windows are the last optics to be used before the working area; they protect high quality laser optics from material splatter. In the majority of cases, protective windows are available inexpensively with few demands regarding surface figure and surface quality.
The windows are coated with an anti-reflex coating for the laser beam and, upon request, can also be AR coated for the pilot laser in the visible wavelength range.
Raytek provides a comprehensive range of lens protective windows for most laser applications.
Lens protective windows are recommended for shielding expensive focusing lenses from splatter and debris during laser processing. A complete range of glass material with A/R coatings are available depending on the application. Should you not find your window listed, please contact our application laboratory with the physical dimensions of your window and advise the A/R coating.
