Product Description:Sapphire windows are highly resistant to extreme temperature and pressure changes. These windows are often used as viewing windows to observe the interior of vacuum chambers or chambers containing high temperature plasma. Sapphire is a single crystal of aluminum oxide (Al2O3), with good chemical, mechanical and optical properties: resistance to strong acid corrosion, can be used in corrosive environments; surface scratch resistance and wear resistance. Uncoated sapphire is transparent over a broad wavelength range of 150 nm to 4.5 μm, making it suitable for applications in the UV to mid-IR range.

Sapphire crystal (Al2O3) - The hardest oxide crystal. As an excellent filter material, it has good wave transmittance in the ultraviolet, infrared, and visible light bands (wave-transmitting material: a material that can transmit electromagnetic waves and hardly change the properties and energy of electromagnetic waves).
