Product Description

General Introduction: Raytek cylindrical lens is a circular or rectangular lens with a cylindrical surface. Unlike spherical lenses, they focus the beam into a focal line instead of a focal point.
The transmission ability of the lens can be increased by coating antireflective films on both sides of the lens and using multilayer films in some spectral bands. The cylindrical lens can be made of ZnSe, Ge, Si and other infrared materials.
Cylindrical mirror is an ideal choice for one-dimensional amplification applications.
The effect of the spherical mirror on the incident light in two directions is symmetrical, while the cylindrical mirror acts on the incident light in two directions. The mirror has only one effect on the incident light. A typical application is to use a pair of cylindrical lenses to shape the deformed beam. A pair of cylindrical mirrors can be used to collimate and round the output of laser diode. Another possible application is to use a single column.The mirror focuses the divergent beam on the detector array. In order to minimize spherical aberration, collimation should be used when the beam is focused into a line.
The straight light source is incident from the curved surface of the lens, and the line light source should be incident from the plane of the lens when the line light source is collimated.
