General Introduction: 

One of the basic optical elements in Windows optics, usually used as a protective window for electronic sensors or detectors of external environments. The window slice does not change the magnification of the system.

Apart from diamond, CVD ZnS is the only infrared optical material with transmission band covering visible light to long-wave infrared, full-band and even microwave band. It is the most important long-wave infrared window material at present. It can also be used for advanced military purposes such as "three photosyntheses and one" light window, near-infrared laser/two-color infrared composite light window.
