Product Description

General Introduction: Ultraviolet achromatic lens is an air gap achromatic double lens. A piece of fused silica (CaF2) used in laser applications consists of an excimer glass. The two materials have good transmittance at UV wavelength and different dispersion characteristics, so the chromatic aberration and spherical aberration are corrected. For an ideal Gaussian beam, the focal spot diameter and diffraction limit size of the lens with F number ≥ 5 are the same. Through special design, this product can reduce the spot size of 345-700nm multi-color lighting, and can be used for fluorescence, as well as the focusing of ordinary UV light sources, such as mercury arc lamp, UV LED lamp and triple Nd: YAG laser. This series of achromatic lenses adopt glued design, which is an excellent alternative to the UV air gap and triple glued lenses. The transmittance of the lens is more than 90% at 360nm and more than 50% at 334nm.
