General Introduction: Raytek's 1064nm antireflection coating of UV grade fused silica Plano convex lens is used to meet the stringent requirements of laser electro-optic focusing applications. These lenses are polished using the master test plate to achieve tight tolerances to ensure minimum wavefront distortion. Strict surface quality tolerance minimizes both scattering and harmful diffraction effects.

UV fused silica is a synthetic amorphous silica with high purity, which can provide the maximum transmission from 195 nm to 2100 nm. The amorphous and colorless quartz glass has very low thermal expansion coefficient, good optical properties and excellent transmittance in the ultraviolet region. The transmittance and uniformity are higher than that of crystal quartz, and there is no inherent orientation and temperature instability of crystal form. It does not fluoresce under ultraviolet light and is radiation resistant. For high energy applications, the high purity of fused silica eliminates the micro defects that may cause laser damage. 1064nm Laser Line Antireflective V Film:
Raytek AR.33 laser line V film has the lowest reflectivity at 1064 nm to achieve maximum transmission, while maintaining high durability and high damage resistance. Valuable laser energy can be effectively transmitted through the plano convex lens without loss due to surface reflection and scattering. However, it only supports the smallest wavelength range of laser line.
